Subject: Coldwell Banker Peter Benninger Realty set to Break Ground on Ground Breaking Facility

Members of the media are invited on Thursday, April 26th at 11:00 am to join dignitaries, Kitchener Mayor – Carl Zehr, Waterloo Mayor, Lynne Woolstencroft, Regional Chair, Ken Seiling in helping Coldwell Banker Peter Benninger Realty officially break ground on their new state-of-the-art Real Estate Consumer Centre.  Management and staff will attend the ceremony, as will Contractor, Melloul-Blamey and Architect, Andrew Bousfield.    The event will take place at the site on 508 Riverbend Drive, Kitchener.  Photo and interview opportunities will be available at this time.

The Real Estate Consumer Centre, is the inspiration of Peter Benninger, Broker and President of Coldwell Banker Peter Benninger Realty and is the first of it’s kind in North America.  “I have visited many real estate brokerages throughout North America, small and large, and I can assure you that what we are building is indeed unique,” Peter Benninger said.  “I believe that the new concept will provide our customers with a more informed and less stressful way to fulfill their real estate needs”.

The first floor of the Brokerage firm will be entirely consumer-focused, offering the public the opportunity to browse through virtual tours, view an extensive collection of maps, conduct research, and search for property on computer kiosks.  Doubling the size Coldwell Banker Peter Benninger Realty presently occupies, The Consumer Centre will feature new divisions such as vacation, rentals, new homes, senior’s lifestyle and luxury properties.  The companies existing Residential Re-Sale, Commercial, Concierge and Mortgage Divisions will compliment these new niche markets.

The Consumer Centre will also feature a multipurpose conference room with theatre seating for 150, where throughout the year, the public will be invited to attend real estate related seminars.

A grand opening is anticipated for the fall of 2001.
